Kathmandu Durbar Square

Boudhanath

Pashupatinath Temple

Non-Hindus are not allowed inside the main temple complex but there’s still plenty to see from outside – including cremation ceremonies taking place on open pyres along the river bank.
Chandragiri Hills
A stone’s throw away from Kathmandu lies Chandragiri Hill, which reaches a height of 552 meters above sea level. The Chandragiri Hill is a great spot for picnics and hiking. The hill has many trails that lead to the top, where you can get a 360-degree view of the Kathmandu valley. On a clear day, you can even see the Himalayan range from here. Kopan Monastery
It is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery near Boudhanath, on the outskirts of Kathmandu Kopan Monastery is home to over 500 monks and nuns, and is one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Nepal. The monastery was founded in 1971 by two Tibetan Lamas, Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Kopan Monastery is best known for its teaching and research programs. In addition to its educational programs, the monastery also hosts a number of retreats throughout the year.
Narayanhiti Palace Museum
The Narayanhiti Palace Museum was then opened to the public on 9 October 2015, six months after Nepal was declared a federal republic following the abolition of monarchy. Narayanhiti Palace Museum exhibits several valuable pieces of art, antiques and cultural artifacts that were collected by Nepal’s former kings. The museum also has an audio guide system for visitors to explore the building at their own pace. At present, the Narayanhiti Palace Museum is open from 10:00am-5:00pm on all days except Tuesday and national holidays.
Swayambhunath stupa

Bhaktapur was founded in 1053 A.D and elevated to kinghood when King Anand Devpal constructed the shining Supreme Malla Durbar (the Great Palace).
